I overheard a conversation today in which it was purported that violence is abnormal and anyone who lashes out violently must be mentally ill.

Vintage Viner asked the question “So, What Are Some of the Things That Make You Laugh, and Why?”, this was such a sweet article and the responses were all so kind and nice I really enjoyed reading the whole thing.

Dreamer is now five weeks old and is growing by leaps and bounds. She is so sweet and cuddly; and I think the smartest little animal I’ve ever met. She figures things out so quick, and also gets bored which may lead to some issues in the future.

Scribbles came to us in February. She was seriously underweight and was covered from head to toe in rain rot. Rain rot is an anaerobic bacterial infection that is often caused by the horse being in a wet environment without being allowed to dry for long periods of time.

When I was given my first horse my parents told me that she was my responsibility and there would be hell to pay if she were not cared for properly. When I got out of bed in the mornings, before I could shower or eat breakfast I had to first feed and care for my mare.

Well, I finally convinced my daughter-in-law Ann to join newsvine and post her wonderful photos and wouldn't you know she isn't allowed to upload them. She wrote a short little article that posted with no problems but no photos to go with it.

I’ll tell you that I know nothing about mules, and even less about baby mules. So when I read articles and had several people tell me I would have to tackle the little thing and get a halter on it, I thought that was what would surely happen.

It was an early morning phone call that started the day. I was informed that my mare had been let out of her stall during the night and had helped herself to several samples of grains and various hays in the aisle and feed-room.

As I watch my son and his wife create Christmas traditions for their family, I can't help but reflect on the traditions that I grew up with and then created for my own family. When I was a child my parents created a magical atmosphere for the Christmas celebration.

Thank you so much, you are too kind.
And I agree bitemore, there is more to the story than is currently apparent. A persons character is much more important to me than spelling and grammar. John's articles are thought provoking despite the grammatical errors, he is obviously an intelligent person.
Theresa, dear one, I love your photos... some are truly spectacular. But, that's not why I am leaving a comment. I think I know what John Hahn's "problem" may be: he may be blind... and may be using voice-recognition to submit his articles, and may not have the ability to track our comments.
The cadence of his articles is familiar... I once knew a blind person who wrote in much that style, and although I could be wrong, I do think he has some kind of disability. His grammar isn't good, but his spellings are largely accurate... and there are few capital letters...
Anyway, I'm glad you are kind to him. I wish there were more like you out there in the vast void of the vine...
Huggies!
